The Things We Don't See

Heeeeey – we moved again. We were in west Texas for a solid 7 months.

The plan was for both of us to get into the oilfield for a couple of years, but it didn’t work that way and I’m not sure why.

I know God has His plans, and I definitely feel like we were being called out there, but nothing major seems to have changed – at least not that I can see.

Currently, we’re living in a great little place on the outskirts of Austin and San Antonio, and it’s beautiful here. We have zero friends, but I almost feel like that’s necessary right now to avoid distractions. We also don’t have a church but maybe we’ll find something soon.

For now, I’m going to use the solitude to my advantage.

I’m looking forward to looking back in a couple of years to see what God was doing behind-the-scenes of these moves.

Until then, I’ll focus on planting seeds in this soil.
