The newest Pure Flix film, Unplanned, came out over the weekend – and it’s doubled their expected outcome. They’ve had some marketing set-backs and social media hurdles, yet they’ve still prevailed – #BecauseGod.

The creators of Unplanned, Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, were prompted by God to make this film, so you can bet God’s gonna see it through. It got an A+ CinemaScore rating which only happens to like 2 films per year.

Another great thing happened on the set of Vindication, Episode 9. My actor friend, Robbie Clark, had asked me to be on his podcast a few months prior.

Piggy backing on last week’s post, here’s a new thought about my current situation.

It seems more have been popping up recently, which is amazing.

After a few times doing something, you tend to learn the ropes. Here's what helps me when I have shoots coming up:

1. Charcoal tablets. I learned about charcoal tablets a couple of years ago when I got food poisoning; they help cleanse the body. I don’t know about you, but when I drink something carbonated, it tends to give me throat gurgles that the boom mic picks up.

This was an interesting day. I was hired as Jennifer Garner’s stand-in on a movie filming in Austin.

A stand-in is similar to a double except you don’t have any screen time. Stand-ins watch the main actors rehearse the scene, and when the main actors go to hair / make-up / wardrobe, the stand-ins stand in all the places the actors were so that cameras, lighting, sound, etc. can be set up and ready to shoot when the actors come back.
